Over 70 members from MNF & BJP join into Indian National Congress in Barapansury-II MDC Constituency

Kamalanagar, 21 August, 2022: In a major setback to the ruling CDMNF and CDBJP, altogether 77 voters (48 from Tungasora village and 29 from Silsury village) joined into Indian National Congress from MNF and BJP in Silsury village under Barapansury-II MDC Constituency. Among them, prominent leaders include Juddha Moni Chakma; Advisor MNF Unit Committee of Silsury also joins the party after resigning from MNF.

The major political development took place during a team visit led by Vice president, CDCC Dangu Laxmi Bikash Chakma to the target five MDC Constituencies in the Thega Valley of Chakma Autonomous District Council. All the new members were inducted formally during a mass gathering at Silsury.

People of CADC have lost their faith in the ruling MNF and BJP and several prominent leaders and their followers are ready to switch to Congress in the upcoming days as the people are not seeing any prospect in ruling MNF and BJP. They have totally failed to bring any development for the CADC except bundle of lies to fool the innocent public.
