Kamalanagar: Mizoram, the 24th November, 2021: The Chakma District Congress Committee (CDCC) on the instruction of party High Command i.e., the AICC and MPCC successfully holds a peaceful demonstration (Dharna) at the courtyard of CDCC Office, Kamalanagar, the headquarter of Chakma Autonomous District Council in protest against the price hike of essential commodities by the Central BJP Govt.

While addressing the protest Mr. Adikanta Tongchangya, Secretary, MPCC & Advisor, and CDCC said, “The BJP Government under the leadership Narendra Modi has been increasing the prices of essential commodities like eating oil, onion, petrol, diesel and Gas day-by-day which are becoming hardship for the common people across the country.”
He also said, “In some states the fuel price is skyrocketing. The citizen has chosen BJP and Narendra Modi for the welfare of the nation, not for looting the nation. Increasing the prices of essential commodities means directly looting the people.”
