7 Jan 2022, Kamalanagar: A delegation team of the Chakma District Youth Congress Committee led by Dangu Lokesh Chakma have met the Executive Secretary, CADC and demanded that all the rejected candidates to be reinstated to appear in the upcoming recruitment examination in CADC.

The members of the delegation team held long discussion on the recent notification A.12032/1/2021-2022/RC-CADC(G)730 dated 05/01/2022 issued by General Administrative Department, CADC whereby, more than 340 candidates have been rejected on various vague grounds.

The members of the delegation team including Advocate Supreme Raj Chakma highlighted that the eligibility criteria and necessary documents to be submitted by the candidates that were stated in the advertisement notice and in the application form was not in uniformity, thus creating confusion upon the eligible candidates which had resulted in arbitrary rejection of more than 40% of the total applicants applying for the employment in various posts of Group B (Non-Gazetted), Group C and Group D. The Chakma District Youth Congress demanded the cancellation of the recent notification and requested for reinstatement of all the rejected candidates to give them equal opportunity to appear for the written examination in the greater interest of all the educated youths of the Chakma Autonomous District Council.
