Breaking News: Nihar Kanti Chakma appointed General Secretary of Mizoram Pradesh Congress Committee

Heartiest congratulations to Shri Nihar Kanti Chakma on his appointment as General Secretary of Mizoram Pradesh Congress Committee on 1st September 2021.

It is a historic day as two members of the Chakma community have been appointed as General Secretary and Secretary of Mizoram Pradesh Congress Committee. Dangu Nihar Kanti Chakma was appointment as General Secretary and Dangu Adikanta Tongchangya was appointed as Secretary.

The Congress party is the only political party that has always empowered the Chakma community and had always supported the minority communities in India.

Unlike the other political parties that have betrayed us and are curtailing the basic rights of the minorities like the Chakma community, the Congress party has time and again proven that it is the only political party that can be trusted by the minorities.
